The Fight for a Free World

Where and when will the next big fight for freedom take place? Hmm, I can guess. Who will the GOP select as the next ruler of the free world? That is the whole ball game. The next election is all but over because the Democrats will not have a clue how to fix their party by then. It’s a shame that a 2% swing with crush the party in the coming decade. I make jokes about the GOP picking Jeb but that will not happen. They are too smart for that. My guess is it will come down to two people John McCain and Rudolf Giuliani. Let’s start with why I would prefer McCain. Not only is an actual factual war hero he is also one of the very few Republicans that has stood up and said that the President is not always doing the right thing. It takes a lot of balls to stand up to that propaganda machine. Most people get crushed by the administration when they try that. Anyway, this will probably be his down fall. The current administration is so power full and they use every bit of influence they can to get their way. So, who will they want to be selected as Bush’s Successor? Looks like to they are grooming Rudolf Giuliani already. They used him a lot in the last campaign and he always seemed to be around Bush. I know why they did that. “Let’s play on everyone sympathies for 9/11 as much as we can without coming off as doing so.” He was the ticket to that. For some reason he is beloved now. He was the mayor of NY so I guess that makes him a hero. He didn’t do much if anything. Did he run in and try to save people? Nope. I hope McCain will win this battle. He is the only one that can save the GOP and the world from the people that have stolen it for their own benefit.

Meow goes the kitty

I heard the craziest thing on the radio this morning as I drove into work. Some lady down in the South of the states has cloned her late pet. This 6-week old kitten is genetically identical to her long-lost beloved cat. My reaction: "What the hell is wrong with people?"

I love science, I have no qualms when it comes down to science, I believe in science. Cloning is a great discovery; true. I don't have a problem with it; but when someone can clone their Fluffy for fifty grand, that doesn't sit right with me. It's not the fact that they're cloning things, it's the fact that people can't get over that their pet kicked the can.

People need to face death because they're afraid of it. People are so scared of things dying on them; it's a natural process for people, pets and house plants to die. I know that one day I will have no remaining Grandparents. Yes, it's hard to come to grips because mourning is a difficult process to go through; but I know that next year, or next week I could get that ellusive phone call. I have lost my Grandfathers, Great Uncles and Aunts, even friends....I have also lost a pet. I have dealt that these family members of my life have gone and passed.

Now, I don't want people to be ragging on me about pets being part of the family and such, I know they are; I understand how important and how they are very tangeble members of the family. I love animals so please don't go ape-shit thinking that I don't.

The thing that I'm scared about is all those people out there who have kids and have a family pet. What is their kid going to think when they realize that Rover is 37 human years old. That's wrong people. Teach kids about death, explain it to them. Hell! Explain it to yourself if you don't get it. Just dig a hole, say a prayer, cry for while and then spend your fifty grand elsewhere.

Way to go Rummy, the country should be proud to have such a fine outstanding secratary of defence. You dont even have the decency to personally sign the letters of condolence sent to families of soldiers killed in action. But instead have a machine do it in your place. Now are their either so many soldiers killed that you dont have enough time, or do you just not care enough to be bothered. Just remember soldiers youre fighting this war with the leaders you have not the leaders you want.
